THE NEW YORK KNICKS
Last week I played my first game at Madison Square Garden as a guest DJ for the New York Knicks. When I walked into the building, I told everybody NY was going to win because I was there. Alot of people doubted me because they were playing the Celtics but when it was all said and done, the final score was 100-86 and the Knicks won. Below are some pictures taken by me and Kristin Aytona. Big shouts to Michelle Harris, Adry, Dan Solomito, J Grand, Roscoe, Melody, Louis Colon, Richie Cruz and everybody else who was in the building! '09 is already off to an amazing start!

Mitch "Blood" Green
In case you don't know who Mitch Green is, then it's easy to say that he is best known for his feud with Mike Tyson. The high point was an incident that began in the early morning hours of August 23 of 1988 while Tyson was shopping at Dapper Dans (a Harlem clothing store that would stay open late). Green had heard that Tyson was in the area and went to track him down in hopes of securing a rematch (the two had fought in '86 and Tyson won by a decision). A scuffle ensued when Green allegedly throw's a punch and Tyson responds with a straight right to Green's nose, requiring five stitches. Tyson broke his hand in the incident and had to postpone his fight with Frank Bruno. Later a New York jury would award Green $45,000 in damages in a civil lawsuit against Tyson.I'll never forget the image of Green's swollen eye which I remember seeing on the front cover of all of the NY newspapers following the street fight. Tyson knocked the shit out of him!
Now the footage below showcases what Green was best known for... Running his mouth! Whether it was about Tyson, other boxers or how he's the best.. The sound quality isn't that great but this is too classic to not post. Especially since this was filmed after losing in both the ring and street to Iron Mike.

The Bowe Vs Golota Riot
Live from Madison Square Garden, Lou Duva gets carried out on a stretcher like Mickey in Rocky 3. George Foreman tries to play peace maker and HBO keeps the cameras rolling as people in the stands start fighting! Brooklyn was definitely in the house!
