The vocoder is a device that was made to tune out of Key vocals. (The Jlo record is the first one that I can remember to make it obvious). You weren't supposed to notice it. Now these clowns have perverted it into something different.
Roger used a talk box which is not a vocorder. The sound resonates in your head and not thru the keyboard and there is a tube that youput into your mouth to make that sound like Peter Frampton it that Geico commercial(which is why Snoop looks stupid in that sensual seduction to anyone who knows about music. Vocorders dont sound like that)

Thanks for the knowledge... On a side note, I feel that Kanye has done a good job using autotune... Cher on the other hand makes me want to kill myself...
