Mixtape Wed's #7 - DJ Screw

After the unfortunate passing of Pimp C yesterday, I decided to keep it in Texas for this weeks edition of Mixtape Wednesdays and focus on the late great DJ Screw.

Back in the mid to late 90's I remember hearing alot about him and how he was chopping and screwing records... I was always intrigued by this but it wasn't until a few years ago when I actually got a chance to listen to some of his mixtapes. If you're not up on him, dude is a legend in the South and is responsible for the entire chop & screwed movement... Yeah man I agree with Taboo...DJ Screw tapes are amazing and its hard to find unless you live in Texas. Screw was truly an innovator no one matches this style!

good lookin out on this tape. one of my friends moved up here from galveston, tx. and put me up on screw in 95-96. these tapes are excellent when your bent.
