This Tuesday

In case u don't know, me and El Saeso have started up a Tuesday night in the basement of Socialista. It's not a party. It's a spot where we can just chill with our peeps and enjoy some good music. Last week Alamo from Brand Nubian came thru and rocked the spot. This week we got G-Bo The Pro on the one & two's and we'll be celebrating the new collaboration between SSUR x DC Shoes. If you want to come thru and have a drink, hit me on the cell.

Test The High Power
What you know about Ninja Man?
And why can't I find any old radio mixes of dancehall?
Does anybody have anything from Sting International,
Red Alert or Dahved Levy? I'm looking for anything from the 80's.

Willie Dynamite
Here's a video that I put together yesterday for film school. It originally was a 40 second movie trailer for Willie Dynamite. After I finished that, I took all of the left over footage and created this video montage. The music is off of that new Menahan Street Band album. Feedback would be appreciated.

Last Night At Santos
Me and Mark Ronson got busy on the one and two's at Q-Tip's Election / album release party. If you haven't copped the album yet, make sure you go out and support that! A huge thank you goes out to Tip for letting me rock.
Shouts also to Mark Ronson (that Tribe into Eric B for President transition was murder), Vashtie, Chad Gitten, Plain Pat, Juju (Beatnuts), Oscar (1992), Glenny, Kai, DJ Elle, Amanda Diva, Mel D Cole, Kid Cudi, Diddy (happy birthday) and Busta Rhymes (who made a surprise performance while I was spinnin). For pic's of the event check out Villageslum.com.

The Dil Cosby Collection
In case you don't know, Madlib just dropped two albums of beats and interludes which is a tribute to Dilla. As of right now, it's only available on the Stones Throw site. The tracks below are a few of my favorite cuts off of the albums. Shouts to Havana Joe for lacing me.
